Don't Forget to Hit that Like Button and Subscribe!

Hey there! Have you ever wanted to create a YouTube business channel but you don't know where to begin? Let me help you out with that! In today's blog I want to focus on marketing with YouTube and how to create your own YouTube Business channel. YouTube is the world's most popular online video sharing site, with over 2.5 billion monthly active users watching over 5 billion videos every single day 💬. YouTube is also the second most visited site in the world, with the first being Google. YouTube allows you to watch from a wide variety of video content including short clips to music videos, documentaries, movie trailers, films, etc. A fun fact about YouTube is that it came about in result from Janet Jackson's 2004 Super Bowl incident and the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami after former PayPal employees couldn't find video clips of the events online. One of the employees then published the first YouTube video, called, "Me at the Zoo," on April 23, 2005 📹. YouTube has changed the way people make purchases, interact with brands, and the way that brands interact with customers.

Individuals today demand visual content as their primary, secondary, and tertiary form of content before they will take the time to read, partially due to the increase in mobile device usage, and with this it's important for marketers to adapt to this trend by creating engaging video content for their audiences. Social media platforms are also focusing on creating content in the form of videos. Video marketing has become a popular form of marketing nowadays and YouTube is one of the main platforms businesses use. So many different categories of business brands are making this change including, technology companies, food and beverage brands, automobile companies, and more! Businesses consistently post content catered to their target audiences and follow through with a YouTube content strategy (you knew it was coming..). YouTube has a huge user base and diverse content creators which offer endless opportunities for businesses to show what they’re all about!

Before you leave, I want to introduce you to some tips on how to create a YouTube channel for your business. When creating your account, you want to make sure you are creating a brand account, you can do this by going to your channel list and choosing a new brand account or using an existing brand account. You can then fill out the details to name your channel. After creating the baseline account page, you can then upload artwork to personalize your brand to bring viewers in.  After adding those personal touches, you can add an "About" section to your brand profile which can include essential information about the company and channel. Adding a welcome message or mission statement can help to provide subscribers with information on what your channel will be about.

Hopefully the information I provided about marketing with YouTube and the tips I mentioned on creating your Business YouTube channel were helpful! I hope you enjoyed the content and I'll see you next week on Days of Dani!😁
